Literally. I've been playing with this idea for years. Trying to create a self-portrait where my face is a mask and my 'true' face/someone else's face is behind it. This is the fourth incarnation of this idea I've done. I never got around to finishing this particular piece yet...damn you procrastination.
I really, REALLY love how the mask came out, and the eyes on the face behind it. Hate the hand though. -bitchbitchbitch-

You have some lovely color work here and I adore the highlights on the mouth area of the mask. Nice job!
